|French term or phrase: librairies|
|A Storage Data Center is a network of servers providing ~30 terabytes of storage space, des librairies et solutions complexes de sauvegarde, et des technologies réseaux SAN. |
SDC: a group of servers housed in a Data Center used by Storage Service Providers to provide data storage services to corporations that can no longer manage their data storage functions independently. But what is a "librairie" in that context?
The English computer term "library" has been "transliterated" in many other languages (French, Italian, etc.).
Definition of "library" from the Dictionary of Computer Terms, Barron's:
"A collection of files, computer programs, or subroutines."

I'm afraid you'll not like
my answer, but by using 'librairies' it seems that they're simply referring to 'libraries' (E.: library ):-)
I suppose you know what a library is ;-)
Really looking forward to what others have to say about this...
