French term or phrase: alarme de synthèse
«La combinaison d'alarmes élémentaires et de conditions d'environnement donne lieu à la naissance d'alarmes de synthèse»

Plenty of occurrences on Google, but no explanation that I can find. Nothing on Eurodic, Termium or GDT. It doesn't seem to be anything to do with voice synthesis.

combined alarms
Explanation:
I agree with previous answerer about the meaning of 'synthèse' here --- this is a common technique; I feel that 'combined' is possibly a more self-explanatory term, and I'm unaware of a more 'official' term for this?

synthesis alarm

Explanation:
seems too obvious, but found a Google hit where the meaning is of an alarms that incorporates several functions, e.g. "smoke, heat and other kind of detectors for fire and burglar protection." Avoided the "voice synthesis" hits

Major alarm systems/system

Explanation:
Synthese seems to imply that a series of minor alarms in an alarm system will eventually trigger main alarm systems or system.
