"Particle category" (or maybe "particle count") Explanation: See this translation site: "classe d'empoussièrement particle category" http://www.pmc-vacc.com/french/c.htm You might find this site very useful (I just found it myself) And here is the english to french address: http://www.pmc-vacc.com/english/a.htm "La classe d'empoussièrement constitue une échelle d'évaluation de la contamination aéroportée " (follows a chart showing the quantity of contamination for each particle size) http://bruce.borgna.free.fr/classe.htm " Le comptage particulaire (classe d’empoussièrement) Le comptage bactériologique (classe bactériologique) " http://www.utc.fr/~farges/dess_tbh/99-00/Stages/Taupiac/Taup... It seems that maybe "particle count" and "classe d'empoussièrement" are one and the same...? But you may prefer to use a different expression, is "particle count" is already used, so I think that "particle category" would be a better term, especially that it conveys better the idea of keeping track of particles of different sizes, rather than just counting the number of them. Hope this helps. |

cleanliness class Explanation: Might be, laminar flow and other clean rooms are classified by the number of particles in a standard volume hence class 100, class 10,000 and clas 100,000 etc. |
