(Or the Dennison Manufacturing Co.?) Or a method of measurement that has become an industry standard invented by one of the above or by a Mr. Dennison? Given the capital letter, it is almost certainly a proper name. I believe, but am not certain, there is a process involved in adding watermarks to paper that uses Dennison wax... BTW, I have also run into "Dennison tagging" but in a completely different context (tagging fish) so I have my doubts as to that one. I hope this helps a bit... and that someone can suggest something better and more definite. |
