not sure what they mean by entre les mains, wonder if this has a more legal context than the obvious one - thanks

agree  Elisabeth Toda-v.Galen: but the french is correct, "mains propres" has a physical" hands" meaning, which has nothing to do in a contract. In this particular case, it is merely meant as "directly", without in-betweens
