Ironless Core Inductance Explanation: Low frequency inductors are made of turns of a conductor wrapped around a CORE, usually made of iron, for it concentrates the magnetic flux. For some applications, such as high frequency ones and in some motors design, the inductors use an ironless core (usually air) References: www.micromo.com/03application_notes/tutorial2.asp www.instechlabs.com/pinch.html www.stanford.edu/~dionm/report.pdf normag.com/cog-free_brushless_linear_servo_motor(22-23).pdf www.h2wtech.com/xrstage.htm seniord.ee.iastate.edu/Historical_Record/dec97/dec97-10/ motors.html |
