French term or phrase: attente
Raccordement du groupe de condensation à une arrivée d'eau perdue en attente par le lot plomberie. Cette attente devra être conforme au débit d'eau nécessaire au bon fonctionnement de l'appareil.
OK attente seems to be an unconnected water outlet ready to be connected to some other piping. Is there a professional term for this English.
English translation:holding tank
I think it's a tank for holding waste water--the remark about capacity suggests something of the sort

The terms "water-holding tank";"fluid holding tank"; or "dosing tank" which discharges the fluids at a rate required by the process are well known in English terminology. Also the terms in French are like the following: "branchemen en attente" de l'eau potable, de reseau d'eau, module hydraulique etc. I will cite the following:"Robinet d'alimentation d'eau et d'evacuation EN ATTENTE pour lave-vaissele dans cusisine et lavelinge dans ... selon le plans d'architecte."
Take a look on the cited web page at the "Sanitaire chapter", or hit the web with "branchement en attente",
