Same context as above question. "Les activites de ce secteur portent sur l'ensemble du processus de production des aciers plats: elaboration de l'acier, laminage a chaud, parachevement pour produits a chaud, laminage a froid, traitements thermiques, revetements." The translation I found for "parachevement" was "perfection or perfecting." I'm wondering if there is something more technical than "perfection of hot products?? Thanks for your help.

I can't think of anything better than "finishing" for "parachèvement", but just wanted to point out that when you're talking about "acier plat", the term for "à chaud" is "hot-ROLLED" (not just "hot").

Similarly, "laminage à chaud" would be "hot rolling".
