|French term or phrase: serfput|
|In a garage:|
"Un serfput muni d'une grille dont un morceau est brisé."
in fact, serfput should be a typo for "sterfput", which is used in belgian French for "puisard".
e.g.: "L'eau refoule par le puisard dans le garage." = "Water is backing up through the garage pit."

That was a great help. I used Termium for "puisard" and got "soakwell" (UK English -I know it, as I'm from there) and "dry well" (US English).
