Seems to get quite a few relevant Googles, though the equivalent abbrevaition PDB doesn't seem to exist in English. Possibly because it does exist in other, quite different, contexts.

I would recommend using the full expression at least the first time it occurs, and if necessary, creating the ad hoc local abbreviation alongside, to make it crystal clear.
