Explanation:
For clarity sake, the line reads as: the need to resort to an increase of the functionalities of the pre-installed version of the operatiing system. I saw “for the same version” but I don’t think it really fits because XXX did not build the ops. Sys.
I took the following presumptions:
a. XXX is going to maintain the computers and should insert <à version constante>
because this must have come after supplying of the computers by themselves.
b.Where the company experiences technical problems, XXX will be called upon, as highlighted, for maintaennce.
But there are situations, every telecom person knows that, where a problem exists that are abnormal, these are situations where XXX wants to avoid being thrown into complications with when they proffer a solution.
Hence, <à version constante> is like a term added to say :
a. no staff should upgrade the operating system on his computer except done by XXX, any version on which XXX finds at that point in time will be considered <à version constante> in law.
b. XXX will not undertake to help the company increase the functionalities of the operating system in any way without the need of writing a new contract or agreement and therefore earning more money for it. Hence, <à version constante>.
