This is the only time this term appears in the entire text. Elsewhere they refer to "Service à la clientèle," "Service clients" etc... The "cellule" has thrown me for a loop.

In my experience, a "cellule" is a small group of people within a dept who deal with something specific (not necesarily exclusively). I tend to call it a section, but you could also use team - anything that indicates a sub-dept level & not many people would do, really.
Sounds like the whole thing is 'customer service by mail' - does that make sense in context? pay-as-you-go customers switching to a contract have to do so by mail 'cos they need to physically sign a bit of paper, maybe?
I guess something like "mail customer service section" might work - sounds odd though, even tho, say, telephone customer service section or email customer service section don't sound odd.... Well, whatever, I'm sure you can figure something out from that :-) |
