I read "lignes ... départ du groupement" as "outgoing ... lines in the multi-line group" (multi-line as contrasted with single-line discussed earlier in my text).

Yes, French2English, it's a typo on affectation. My bad. Re: the translation, I had translated the term "assigned" but then wondered if I was missing something, so I asked the question. I'm comfortable with "affectation" as assigned (with blocks of lines assigned to operators or large users and individual lines assigned to end users, while allotments and allocations are made at the country and regional levels), but I don't know enough about the mechanics of this particular service to understand the point being the multi-line access (versus single-line access) product. It seems that in general a multi-line product can't have caller ID blocking except on the first line of the group. But then the document says that certain types of lines (mixtes and spécialisées) which are based on the group do have this service. Am I reading that part correctly? Also, the "dès" threw me off: I couldn't tell if it should be read "once they are assigned" or "because of the way that they are assigned" (if that's even a possible reading). I'm still not sure. Perhaps all this technical background is not necessary. Maybe it's just my French that's lacking!
