The following text appears on a CV for an IT project manager, under his experience with Neuf Telecom:

– Création, puis évolution de l’application d’inventaire logique et physique du réseau dans le cadre de la maîtrise d’ouvrage du SI.

I’m not quite sure how “inventaire” fits in? How do you take an inventory of logic?

As you can see, I’m pretty clueless... Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
