« L’ambition légitime de xxx est que yyy, technologie fondatrice, soit répandue, même de manière enfouie, sur toute la terre. »

The client has confirmed that "enfoui" is used here in the figurative sense of the word rather than physically under the ground:

"c’est le sens figuré du mot « enfoui » : essentiel mais pourtant non apparent."

Does anyone have the perfect English word to convey a sense of "essential but not apparent"?

My best shot so far:
xxx’s legitimate ambition is for its ground-breaking yyy technology to infiltrate the full global market, even if it does so unseen.

1. your sentence proposal looks good to me;
2. use 'ubiquitous'. looks heavy, but that's the term used in communications and especially computing.

One could argue that God is only unperceived until such time as (1) he expresses His wrath through floods and storms, or when He performs a miracle (even if it is but the gift newborn life), just as one could argue that underground phone and power cables are "perceived" every time you turn the light on or the phone rings. Or your computer loses everything you hadn't saved when the power went off (see 1 above).

Explanation:
How about this? For this to work, you'd need to change the sentence a bit, of course. Perhaps along the lines of "...for it's ground breaking yyy technology to become embedded worldwide". 'Embedded' might work well in the IT context.
