Tech/Engineering - Telecom(munications) / Near Field Communications | | French term or phrase: cotation | First of all I would like to say that I have checked all the previous entries in Kudoz for this term and am still not sure. As in one of the previous questions, I am not sure whether the term has a technical or cost implication here. This is taken from a specification drafted by a mobile telecomms company regarding managing the compatibility between the client's mobile and the company's NFC platform. I am unable to get the exact sense of the term 'cotation' in the context below. I am wondering if it is to do with dimensioning or has another meaning here. It appears right at the end of the paragraph. If anyone could lead me in the right direction I would be most grateful....
L’arrivée des SIM v2 et de l’amendement X introduit une modification de la CDI [Cardlet Directory] pour la rendre CRS app.
Ce changement de CDI impacte la structure et la connaissance des services NFC telles qu’existant au sein de l’EF CDI. Dans les SIMv2, seulement la partie CARDlets sera accessible en local dans la SIM.
