agree  Tony M: Yes, surely it MUST be 'désenficher' as one word? I'd be inclined to say 'faulty card/board', as being less formal / more techie jargon, but it's only a matter of personal preference / style

Explanation:
the card is like a fiche...as far as I know, cards are shoved in a slot...or pushed in...and in most tech manuals, they are removed from a slot...

I don't think you can say deslot...but you never know...
