Colloquial expression for someone who is not easily convinced by something, such as an argument or a new fad or fashion. In this case, I think the idea is that even those who don't like the items, eventually will end up liking them.

I'm taking some liberties here and dropping the "futurs" without, I think, losing any of the meaning.

Even playground tough guys will love these shoes (presumably because they don't look girlie thanks to the stripes and velcro!)

"Playground" may or may not suit depending on the age group but I suspect this is targeting pre-teens.
