French term or phrase: bavette de marquage
Does anyone know if there is a technical term in English for "bavette de marquage".
I had never heard this term before but I think that I have gathered from looking it up on google that it is a label that goes inside work clothing such as overalls or chef's jackets where the owner can write their name so that the item in question is easily identifiable as theirs.
I can't think of anything other that it can be. I'm sure it's not a bib (bavette) because this translation is for a work attire catalogue.

Thanks!
