This extract comes from website material for a well known sportswear/clothing firm.I gather barettes can mean buckles, but don't think that's right here as none are to be seen on the garment. See link.

I have a feeling they might be the things on the end of the tie cords, however don't think that translation will satisfy client! Stoppers? Or am I on the wrong lines?
