French term or phrase: clé
Hello,
I am translating a marketing report for the tourism industry and a hotel's value is being assessed. The text says:

Nous concluons que la Valeur estimée est de 20 320 120 €, soit 150 917 € par clé.

I had not come across this term before and would be very grateful if anyone could give help me out.

agree  Tony M: Yes, though I suppose perhaps one ought to say 'per bedroom', to make it clear it is referring to letting guest rooms and not just the loo or the pantry...

agree  Catherine CHAUVIN: :-) very funny Tony ! I agree with Manu. The point is to know how many keys for only one bedroom.... :-)

agree  Cervin: Isnt there only one key per hotel room (apart from the maids' keys, which presumably dont count here) If it is a valuation wouldnt they be interested in the number of guest rooms, as you (Drmanu) and TonyM say?
