Asker: I know you had no way of knowing this but it really doesn't seem like this is the type of restaurant to have anything like the pictures shown in your link e.g. strobe lighting and UV, etc. It seems a very serene place where rich people dine. Thank you anyway for your suggestion :)

Room, hall, dining hall, restaurant, whatever, of light.
At least by not having a particularly clear meaning and being odd, to say the least, it will set the reader thinking about what MIGHT be meant, like the French!

Explanation: It may be useful to find out whether this refers to natural or artificial lighting. As there is a terrace and a panoramic view, I would be lead to believe it is more like a conservatory (2nd link see 7th entry.
