This is from a table detailing different types of packages to be stored in a warehouse. I don't understand why it talks about depth here - does it just mean excessive/oversized dimensions? Also, any ideas on the coté would be appreciated although it is a separate term.

not sure about the "côté" are you sure there is an accent? If it did not, then it could mean "dimension/size"

The package will overhang the shelf at back or front
