XXX doit par ailleurs gérer des flux à destination des clients mais ne correspondant pas à une commande client classique (ex : commandes alloproduits, envoi des catalogues, …).
- Passage à quai / Transit:
1 commande fournisseur pour 1 client (pas d’éclatement)
1 commande fournisseur pour plusieurs clients (éclatement)
« colis vides », c’est à dire des produits, non référencés par XXX, qui passent par l’entrepôt (avec ou sans commande) et doivent être transférés vers une destination connue. Il peut s’agir par exemple de :
- Commandes allo-produit
- Catalogues
The text says that these are amongst the things that must be shipped to clients but are not client orders, another category being catalogues. Maybe, therefore, it refers to cados, promotional gifts, giveaways, possibly from companies other than the company from whom the client has ordered stuff but with whom said company has some sort of "customer sharing" deal.
For ex., I order a 12 dozen bottles of DonaldBeak toilet cleaner and 64 toilet brushes from a WCClean catalogue, and it is delivered. A week later I receive a free sample of toilet deodorizer from a previously unheard of company called FreshO2 to whom the WCClean company has communicated my address and my apparent toilet-related obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Of course the products might be totally unrelated, like the stuff you find in the box when you order from catalogues.

Not that I can see why any of this makes any difference to the shipper, whether the products are "ancillary", from elsewhere, or ordered by phone.
What is "XXX"? The name of a company, or the name of a software program that manages orders and shipping? In the latter case I COULD see the type of product making a difference.
