Könnte es sich bei der Joint Mousse um Bauschaum handeln? Das ist ein schaumartiges Material, das in Hohlräume gespritzt wird zwecks Abdichtung. Dieser Schaum wird nach dem Verspritzen sehr hart und Reste werden abgeschnitten, damit man eine glatte Fläche bekommt (ich kenne das allerdings nur vom Türeinbau, bei Toiletten nimmt doch eher Silikon). "mec" würde ich auch für "mechanische Dichtung" halten.
