[bonne maintenance de l'éclairage public], "pour preuve le fait que nous n'ayons trouvé aucun *portillon de candélabre* manquant."

Das sieht nacht 'Laternenpfahl' oder 'Lichtmast' aus. Aber im Wörterbuch finde ich für 'portillon' nur 'Türchen' oder 'Bahnsteigsperre'.

Dicionnaire Avancé Larousse 2005 dit qu'il s'agit d'une porte très petite, comme un "access door" en englais.

So please read carefully - and bother then. The right answer on the basis of Gisela's answer - that unfortunately I cannot reward - is "Wartungsklappe an Lichtmasten". Das ist der Ausdruck, den ich aus der Literatur für die alten Gaslaternen kenne - ich weiß aber nicht, ob unsere heutigen Straßenlaternen noch Türchen haben ...
