French term or phrase: piquets fer crossés

Noch mal zu meinen Baustellenarbeiten, vielleicht hat hier noch jemand einen Tipp:

"Balisage:
La rubalise est interdite, les entreprises utiliseront du grillage plastique orange de hauteur 80 à 100 cm fixés sur des *piquets fer crossés* ou protégés en leurs extrémités ou potelets auto stables correctement lestés."

So richtig kann ich mir das erwähnte Kunststoffgitter nicht vorstellen, aber wichtiger sind ja die offensichtlichen Eisenpfähle. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie das "crossé" zu interpretieren ist? Es muss ja darum gehen, dass sie an ihren Enden so aussehen, dass eine Verletzung unwahrscheinlich oder ausgeschlossen ist.

Unter http://www.novanet-fritzlar.de/AbsperrzaunF23.php ist der orange Absperrzaun dargestellt, ebenso eine Variante der Pfosten/Einschlagposten (von diesem Hersteller Absperrhalter benannt).
Neben der Benennung Absperrzaun findet man auch Bauzaun, Fangzaun und Warnzaun.

"crossé" deutet m.E. auf die abgewinkelte / gebogene Form des oberen Befestigungselements für den Kunststoffzaun hin.
