Zutat im Rezept:

1 piment espagnol, épépiné, coupé en rondelles

Ich suche verzweifelt die richtige Übersetzung! Ist das Piment (obwohl da die frz. Übersetzung "piment de la jamaique" zu sein scheint)? Oder eine Art Chili oder Paprikaschote? Ich kenne mich da leider nicht so gut aus...

Kann mir jemand helfen??

Explanation:
Ich stimme mit Irene überein, habe selbst schon Schwierigkeiten mit dem französischen Begriff piment gehabt. Laut Wikipedia wird Paprika aber auch im Deutschen als spanischer Pfeffer bezeichnet, die bekannteste Sorte der capsicum annuum-Paprika ist der Cayennetyp. Vielleicht ist piment espagnol das gleiche wie pimenton, da dies häufig in der spanischen Küche verwendet wird.
