... würde ich sagen; leider sind die Begriffe je nach Kontext mehrdeutig und werden auch im Rechtsverkehr häufig synonym gebraucht.
Cautionnement = eindeutig Bürgschaft.
Aval = beim Wechsel: Wechselbürgschaft, auch Wechselaval oder Wechselgarantie genannt. Wenn es sich bei der Société um ein Kreditinstitut handelt, dürfte es sich um einen Avalkredit handeln.
Garantie: (1) allgemein jede Garantie = Einstehen dafür, dass ein Dritter seine vertraglichen Verpflichtungen erfüllt (2) speziell: Garantie für die vertragsgemäße Beschaffenheit einer Lieferung oder sonstigen Leistung (freiwillig, über die gesetzl. Gewährleistung hinaus).
In den unten angegebenen Quellen kann auch nach Avale, Avalkredit, Bürgschaft und Garantie bzw. cautionnement und garantie gesucht werden!
