Aus der Werbung für eine im angelsächsischen ansässigen Investgesellschaft:

Comportement exemplaire :
xy a toujours effectué le paiement ponctuel de toutes les demandes de remboursement, n’a jamais activé de ***gate***, créé de side-pockets, et n’a jamais investi dans Madoff.

Hört sich für mich ein bisschen wie "Hintertürchen", schwarze Kassen etc. an?

Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand, der zusätzlich auch Englisch spricht, mit einem Deutungsversuch auf die Sprünge helfen.

Mit einer Sperre will die Investmentgesellschaft verhindern, dass alle Anleger ihre Investition abziehen - ich glaube, das ist vor allem bei Hedge Fonds üblich

Sprachraum - in diesem Sinn könnte es sich um einen Skandal oder um einen zweifelhaften Erlös handeln - Viel Glück bei der weiteren Suche - Gruß
