Wenn Du's von der Perspektive her möglichst neutral ausdrücken möchtest, passt "Hochburg der Aufklärung" mMn am besten. Die Frage bleibt, ob "foyer" hier eher statisch (Zentrum, Mittelpunkt, Brennpunkt...) oder dynamisch (Ausgangspunkt, Brutherd, Brutstätte, Keimzelle...) konnotiert ist. M.E. ist beides möglich, inbes. auch angesichts der Satzfortsetzung. |
