Law/Patents - Insurance / Clause from a Canadian "Contrat de distribution"

French term or phrase: individualité d'intérêts

Deals with the distributor's obligation to take out insurance for the products sold to him by manufacturer:

(Le fournisseur) sera désignée comme co-assurée en vertu de cette police d’assurances, et elle devra prévoir (i) une clause en vertu de laquelle l’assureur ne pourra annuler, modifier ou refuser le renouvellement de l’assurance sans donner un avis écrit préalable de trente (30) jours (au fournisseur), et ii) des clauses de renonciation à la subrogation, de recours entre co-assurés et d’individualité d’intérêts.

French Internet search doesn't bring up anything useful; since it's a Canadian contract, I second-guessed that it's a litteral translation from English (which somehow was confirmed when looking for "individuality of interest"). Still, I've never seen this term before and have no idea as to its legal/economic sense here.
