Le test du Khi2 est un test statistique largement utilisé pour comparer une distribution expérimentale à une distribution théorique (loi binomiale, loi de Poisson, loi normale, ....), ce qui revient, dans cette application, à tester la conformité des résultats expérimentaux saisis par l’opérateur, à l’hypothèse de la loi de Poisson.
Pour qu’un résultat soit statistiquement acceptable, le Khi2 calculé doit être inférieur au Khi2max théorique, tabulé en fonction du nombre de degré de liberté et de l’écart-type retenu
