agree  LMancini (X): Genau das! Kenne ich aus meiner Berufspraxis in der Metallbranche. Es muss sich nicht unbedingt um "Ausschuss" handeln, sondern kann im zu fertigenden Teil begründet liegen.

Explanation:
Also, das ist kein feststehender Begriff in der Gießerei - und da hier nicht bekannt ist, was das für ein "déchet" in welchem "Material" ist, würde ich neutral "Verunreinigung" wählen.

Bei zusätzlichen Infos komm ich gern noch mal auf die Frage zurück :-)

Nach dem zu urteilen, was an Kontext vorliegt, würde ich hier "Ausschussquote" nehmen (t. de rebuts). Denn offenbar wird ein Teil der Produktion gar nicht verwendet, sondern verschrottet.
T. de rebuts ist aber der normale, technisch zutreffendere Begriff.
