Ich übersetze ein Schreiben, in dem sich eine Firma bei ihrem Lieferanten über den katastrophalen Zustand der gelieferten Materialien beschwert.
"Certains cartons ont leurs **embouts** arrchés, déchirés et ce qui fait constater sur certains le corps du profil aluminium abîmé".

Was heißt "embouts" denn in Zusammenhang mit Kartons? Vielen Dank!

Es dürfte sich um längliche Kartons als Verpackung für Aluminiumprofile handeln, deren Enden beschädigt sind.

Eine andere Übersetzung für "embout" ist auch "Endstück", was aber im Zusammenhang mit einer Kartonverpackung keine gute Idee ist.
