I am thinking of 'grand cru' and 'premier cru' in Burgundy for instance. It seems your text is using its own classification system. In your case, I would use something like 'first class' because 'spoudaio' implies that 'bon vin' is not good. Terroir is more than just the soil, I would translate it as 'microclimate' in English. |
