Ho trovato questa definizione di sourcing che magari può esserti utile:
Sourcing: Il processo di selezione, da parte di un’azienda, delle sue fonti di approvvigionamento; in senso più ampio, fare ricerca per acquistare prodotti con lo scopo di raggiungere il miglior equilibrio fra prezzo e qualità.
Per questa ragione credo che nella traduzione "sourcing" andrebbe lasciato invariato.
