Art/Literary - Architecture | | French term or phrase: assommoir | Contesto: fortificazioni medievali. Ho trovato la seguente definizione su Wikipedia e devo dire che mi ha messo sulla buona strada (inizialmente pensavo fosse l'arma, erroneamente):

Tuttavia, non riesco a trovare un equivalente italiano. Avevo pensato a botola ma mi sembra troppo generico...
