Le mur de scène est organisé en trois niveaux. Au premier niveau, on voit au centre la porte Royale, ou valva regia, réservée aux acteurs principaux. Elle était surmontée d’une frise décorée de centaures, dont les vestiges sont aujourd’hui exposés au Musée d’Orange. Cette porte est entourée de niches qui étaient ornées de statues. Les portes latérales, dites hospitalières, plus étroites, servaient aux jeux de scène des acteurs. |
