Ho dato un'occhiata ai KudoZ in altre lingue ma nessuno si confà al mio contesto...
Si parla di depuratori dell'aria:
Si le cordon d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un cordon ou un assemblage spécial disponible auprès du fabricant ou de son agent de service.
Si tratta dell'assistenza o di un agente di servizio (anche se non ho ben chiaro che funzioni svolga quest'ultimo!)?

Ho trovato questa soluzione in una frase moooolto simile a quella da tradurre. Su Goo...it digitate "presso il fabbricante o il suo". L'ultimo risultato mi pare quello in questione. Non riporto né la frase né l'indirizzo, non vorrei magar violare la privacy fra cliente e traduttore, nel caso si tratti dello stesso testo...

Asker: Grazie Glinda, ho controllato e non si tratta né dello stesso prodotto, né dello stesso marchio. Grazie lo stesso comunque, si saranno rubati le frasi standard del manuale a vicenda, haha! :D
