Un fonds nourricier est un fonds (OPCVM) investissant la quasi-totalité de son actif dans un autre fonds, appelé fonds maître. La gestion d'un fonds nourricier se réduit au choix du fonds maître. Cette technique permet au fonds maître de concentrer la gestion des actifs des fonds nourriciers et de la rendre moins coûteuse, de diversifier davantage l'investissement et d'adapter la commercialisation à chacun des fonds nourriciers. L'intérêt, c'est que le fonds nourricier propose généralement des frais de gestion moindres.
