siamo sempre nel famoso elenco di armi medievali e abbigliamento tipico di cavalieri e uomini d'arme.
Si parla di un elmetto detto appunto "Armet savoyard". Vi dice niente?
Se lo digitate su Google Images vedete almeno un'immagine.

Non necessariamente il termine "elmetto" richiama l'età contemporanea. Tant'è vero che, per il termine "armet à rondelle", dell'altra domanda, il dizionario Boch riporta esattamente "elmetto all'italiana / a becco di passero".
