In questo caso credo che coupe-circuit si può tranquillamente tradurre con interruttore (nei veicoli è spesso sinonimo di interruttore rapido o interruttore automatico)
quando si chiude il contatto, la corrente passa e il veicolo è quindi alimentato e in grado di effettuare l'autodiagnosi (e poi mettersi in moto)
