Explanation:
"En" indica, in questo caso, la forma dell'occhio. Se fosse "verde mandorla" l'aggettivo "vert" non sarebbe concordato con "yeux" ma resterebbe al singolare, e non ci sarebbe la preposizione "en".

Explanation:
O all'insù, se non vuoi usare a mandorla.
Secondo me "occhi a mandorla" in italiano fa pensare esclusivamente agli orientali. Non diresti di Sofia Loren che ha gli occhi a mandorla, in fr. sì: l'œil en amande de Sophia Loren.

Occhi ovali sembra utilizzato spesso per descrivere certi UFO, quindi allungati è in effetti più adeguato.
