visto l'allusione " qui frappait à différentes portes du corps", mi sa che Hirselina ha proprio ragione sul riferimento agli umori della dottrina di Ippocrate/Galena.
In francese come in italiano, per estensione e con riferimento a questa dottrina, "umore" ha il senso di "disposizione dell'animo, sia con rif. alle qualità costanti dell'indole che a stati d'animo transitori" (Devoto & Oli)
Per il riferimento propriamente corporeo/organico alla fine della frase bisognerebbe sapere cosa c'è prima e dopo per scegliere l'immagine giusta...
