il "près de" in questo caso può essere tradotto letteralmente come "vicino a" oppure "insieme a", in quanto le due donne vivevano all'interno delle mura. Per evitare fraintendimenti, io opterei per una traduzione leggermente più libera che però rende il senso, quindi "così come" oppure "proprio come".

La città venne riscoperta nel 1871 da Heinrich Schliemann.
Il sito archeologico di Troia è stato proclamato patrimonio dell'umanità dall'UNESCO nel 1998.
