Les plus simples sont dites plaquées ou appliquées sur des tissus légers comme une chemise ou sur des vêtements en jean par exemple, avec ou pas de parementure, doublées ou non. Un peu plus recherchées, celles plaquées à rabat, à revers voire à soufflets.
