Come conferma anche il glossario segnalato da Barbara Carrara, che distingue tra suède (pelle scamosciata naturale) e suédine (tessuto di cotone che imita lo scamosciato). Anche i traduttori italiani di La Redoute hanno usato effetto scamosciato per suédine.

disagree  Manuela Dal Castello: No, l'alcantara è un tessuto ben definito che non ha nulla a che fare con lo scamosciato (a parte il "peletto" al tatto). Tra l'altro, si tratta di un marchio registrato: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcantara_(materiale) e http://www.alcantara.com/#/it/

  -> Hai ragione...al limite avrei dovuto dire aspetto *alcantara* dato che suedine spesso viene impropriamente definito così (divani ecc....)
