French to Italian translations [PRO]
Textiles / Clothing / Fashion | | French term or phrase: calotte pincée | Chapeau esprit "borsalino". Calotte "pincée". Bourdalou sous passant logoté.
Avevo pensato alle famose 'pinces', ma dall'immagine la calotta sembra semplicemente un po' incavata...però non vorrei usare questa traduzione in quanto la uso già per tradurre 'enfoncée', anch'esso presente in descrizioni di altri cappelli.
Idee? Suggerimenti?

Credo che l'infossatura si chiami tecnicamente anche Vaga. Dunque potrebbe essere cupola con vaga

La forma che aveva adottato è quella classica in uso ancora oggi, con una tesa non troppo accentuata, una «calotta» caratterizzata da una infossatura («vaga» è il termine tecnico) e una fascia («cinta») più o meno alta alla base: è nata come alternativa ai duri e catramati cilindro, gibus, bombetta e ai troppo disinvolti coppola e paglietta.

Asker: Grazie lo stesso Ivana, non ho potuto utilizzare 'infossata' in quanto troppo simile a 'incavata', già usato per un altro termine (vedi spiegazione nella mia domanda). Grazie comunque per l'aiuto!
