El cliente me pide que traduzca en un español internacional.
En ese caso, ¿traducirían por "papa" o por "patata"?

Yo pondría papas, porque el único país donde se le dice patatas es en España (salvo en Canarias y Andalucia, donde se le dice "papa", segun Wikipedia). O sea que son muchos mas los paises en los que se utiliza "papa"
